After two years of hard bench (and some field) work, Amandine Magdeleine is leaving the ConvergeAnt project. Amandine has been instrumental in producing the ant-eating mammal genomes and transcriptomes of the project and hundreds of ant mitogenomes using Illumina sequencing, but she also processed the hundreds of fecal samples for microbiome sequencing using 16S rRNA and metagenomics with the MinION.
