Updated: Nov 11, 2024

We just published an updated version our OrthoMaM database of mammalian orthologs in the yearly Database Issue of Nucleic Acids Research (doi:10.1093/nar/gkad834). Rémi led this new major update by improving the bioinformatic pipeline. OMM v12 now includes alignments and curated ML trees of 15,868 CDSs for 190 mammal species and can be freely accessed here: http://orthomam.mbb.cnrs.fr/.

OMMv12 is used in the ConvergeAnt project to perform genome-wide scans of convergent substitutions and to reconstruct genome-wide phylogenetic trees for focal species.
