Sophie attended the first one-week online course on Introduction to Genome-resolved Metagenomics for Microbial Communities organized by Transmitting Science. The course was taught by Dr. Anna Fotaki (University of Copenhagen, Denmark) and Dr. Tom Delmont (Genoscope, CEA-CNRS, France) and focused on the use of the open-source, community-driven analysis and visualization platform Anvi'o developed by the Meren Lab. Sophie will use her new skills to analyze the metagenomic data set we collected on ant-eating mammal fecal samples using the MinION Mk1C.
